For 2004 the RS platform became the basis of the Chrysler Pacifica, a three row full size crossover sized closely with the long wheelbase minivans. The Dodge Caravan of 2004 dropped the entry level trims, with the short wheelbase Caravan serving as the entry vehicle, and the Chrysler Voyager was replaced by an unnamed base trim of the Town and Country offered with the short wheelbase body. Windsor Assembly built the van, and the Pacifica that shared its platform went on sale the same year.
