The Sunfire was Pontiac's compact car for the 1995 through 2005 model years, replacing the Sunbird with a new name and new styling that it shared with the redesigned Chevrolet Cavalier on the J platform, sold as a sedan, coupe and convertible, facelifted in 2000 and 2003, and replaced by the G5 in Canada for 2006 and in the United States for 2007. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the single generation, 1995 to 2005 (1995 to 2005).
