Opel Tigra (Tigra A, 1994 to 2000)

Automobiles

The Tigra A was the first Opel Tigra, a small 2+2 coupé produced from 1994 to 2000. It was based on the coupé concept car of the same name shown at the 1993 Frankfurt Motor Show alongside an open Tigra Roadster concept and the Scamp off-roader and pickup. The Tigra was built on the platform of the second generation Opel Corsa and in Spain at the Zaragoza plant, was introduced at the beginning of 1994 and entered production in September 1994. It shared no body panels with the Corsa, though it kept the Corsa dashboard and most major components. In the UK it was sold as the Vauxhall Tigra.
