The Cadillac ELR is a two-door, four-passenger luxury plug-in hybrid compact coupe manufactured and marketed by Cadillac for model years 2014 and 2016, with a hiatus for model year 2015. It used a retuned version of the Chevrolet Volt's Voltec extended-range electric drivetrain, and its lithium-ion battery pack delivered an all-electric range of 37 to 39 miles and a top speed of 106 miles per hour. The ELR derived from Cadillac's Converj concept, was approved for production at a price of roughly 75,000 dollars, 35,000 dollars more than the Volt, and ended manufacture in February 2016.
