The Tigra TwinTop B was the second Opel Tigra, a new sports car based on the third generation Opel Corsa that resurrected the nameplate in June 2004 after an absence of four years. It was a two-seater coupé convertible with a retractable hardtop, in the fashion of the Peugeot 206 CC, launched at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2004 and produced by the French coachbuilder Heuliez, with sales from October 2004. The base model used the 1.4 L engine with 90 PS and the top of the range the Ecotec 1.8 L from the Corsa GSi with 125 PS, and a Fiat Multijet 1.3 diesel followed in 2005. Production ended in May 2009 with 90,874 built.
