The 2003 Honda S2000 was the last model year of the AP1 variant in the form in which it was introduced. Honda built the AP1 through 2003 at its Takanezawa factory, alongside the NSX and the Insight hybrid, ahead of the major changes made for the 2004 model. In 2003 the S2000 came out ahead of the Audi TT, BMW Z4, Porsche Boxster and Nissan 350Z when Car and Driver compared roadsters, and it took first place in the BBC Top Gear survey that year. The sources used for this page record no change to the car itself that is specific to the 2003 model year, so this page claims none.
