For 2000 the short wheelbase SX was discontinued, shifting the model line entirely to the long wheelbase body. Coinciding with the retirement of Plymouth during the 2000 model year, Chrysler adopted the Voyager under its own brand in the latter part of the model year, offering it only in a short wheelbase configuration. The 2000 Town and Country was the last of the third generation, in LX, LXi and Limited trims.
