The 2020 Chrysler 300 carried a Red S Appearance Package, which became standard on the 300S trim for the 2021 model year. The model was in its tenth year as the LD sedan, with the 3.6 liter V6 and the 5.7 liter Hemi, a rear drive layout and all wheel drive available, and it was one of the last full size rear drive sedans sold in North America. The suspension still followed the Mercedes-Benz designs from which the platform had been derived, with the five link rear design of the E-Class.
