From the 1962 models the fins were gone from all Chrysler products, as was the letter series' unique place in the Chrysler lineup. There was now a Chrysler 300 Sport Series two door hardtop, which replaced the cancelled Windsor, while the convertible stayed with the letter series along with a two door hardtop 300H. The 300H had bucket seats front and rear with a full length console, and it was the last year of the AstraDome instrument cluster. The cross ram engine became an option.
