For the 2013 model year two new colors were offered, Champagne Silver Metallic and Blue Ray Metallic, the latter at extra charge, and the 2013 model arrived at Chevrolet dealers in June 2012. From 1973 to 2013 the Suburban had been available in half ton and three quarter ton versions, and Chevrolet discontinued the three quarter ton option for the public after 2013 because of slow sales. The tenth generation ended after 2014, and the eleventh followed for 2015.
