1998 Chevrolet Metro

Automobiles

The Geo Metro was rebranded the Chevrolet Metro starting in the 1998 model year, still marketed only in North America alongside the Pontiac Firefly and the Suzuki Swift. LSi models produced after 1997 featured the four cylinder engine with a sixteen valve head instead of the eight valves of the earlier design, though still a single overhead cam design, and the base model kept the 1.0 liter three cylinder.
