The Malibu of 1967 continued the same assortment of body styles, with styling changes like all other Chevelles, including a new grille and a revised tail section with taillights that wrapped around to the side. The same assortment of drivetrains carried over from 1966, except that the top 327 cubic inch V8 was dropped from 350 to 325 horsepower. The Canadian market, which did not get the SS-396, kept selling the former Malibu SS nameplate until it was phased out in January 1967.
