General Motors began the development of an updated Lumina in 1989, planned for a late 1992 launch, but development took longer than planned and delayed the launch by 18 months. The redesigned Lumina was unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show in January 1994 as a 1995 model, with a rounded body and an updated interior. Its model years run from 1995 to 2001. This page belongs to the Chevrolet Lumina model on its Chevrolet make page, and it links to the generation and the neighbouring model years so that the whole run of the model can be followed in order.
