Chevrolet unveiled the fourth generation Equinox on January 23, 2024 for the 2025 model year. It is built at the San Luis Potosi plant in Mexico alongside the GMC Terrain, and sales commenced in mid 2024. For the first time the Equinox features drive mode selection on the RS and ACTIV trims. It debuted in March 2024 in China as the Equinox Plus, which was discontinued in August 2025 with Chevrolet's exit from the Chinese market.
