A 50th Anniversary Edition was offered in the 2003 model year to mark half a century of Corvette production, and it had the new Magnetic Selective Ride Control suspension as standard, which replaced the earlier F45 as a suspension choice starting that year. The C5 also appeared as the Moray concept at the 2003 Geneva Motor Show. The red, white and blue color scheme of the C5-R in 2003 commemorated the 50th anniversary, in place of the yellow it had worn before.
