In 1969 the small block grew from 327 to 350 cubic inches with no change in output, and a labor dispute lengthened the production cycle and raised the year's volume. The year brought the all aluminum ZL1 big block option, and the 1969 L88 Lightweight is the most expensive C3 ever sold, at 2,860,000 dollars in 2014. Three Corvette Stingrays were leased to Apollo 12 astronauts. The coupe, with its removable roof panels, accounted for 57 percent of the cars and began a trend of outselling the roadster.
