The 1960 Corvette kept the 1958 face and added taillamps molded into the rear fenders and heavier teeth in the grille, which were the last of the styling changes made in this part of the generation. It is part of the stretch from 1958 to 1962 when the cars shared the exposed four headlamp look. The 1960 car belonged to the stretch of five model years, 1958 to 1962, that had exposed four headlamps and prominent grilles, and it was the second to last of the solid axle Corvettes, which would end with the 1962 model.
