In September 2014 General Motors had added workers to the Wentzville factory after it received advanced orders of 30,000 Colorado and Canyon trucks, and the Motor Trend 2015 Truck of the Year was the Colorado. The 2016 Colorado added Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to its screens, built at Wentzville in Missouri.
