The 1992 model year was the last of the third generation, and the 25th Anniversary Heritage Edition marked it. The B4C Special Service Package gained the 1LE brakes, which were on 589 of the 705 cars built, and some TPI cars used leftovers from the Corvette, which had switched to the LT1 engine in 1992. Production ended at the Van Nuys plant. Some of the TPI cars received leftovers from the Corvette, 201 cars were built with the radio deleted, and the vast majority of the 1LE cars built from 1989 to 1992 were very sparsely equipped.
