Production of the 1991 Camaro started in February 1990, with the facelifted body and updated ground effects, and the center high mounted stop lamp moved to the inside of the hatch. The Z28 had a new wheel design, and General Motors began using modified assembly techniques on the F body cars that carried into the next generation. The B4C amounted to little more than a Z28 powertrain and suspension in the RS body, and GM began using modified assembly techniques on the F body that were carried into the fourth generation.
