The wheelbase of the 1998 Seville was extended to 112.2 inches, but the overall length was down slightly to 201 inches. The car looked similar to the fourth generation model and featured numerous suspension and drivability revisions. The Seville STS, and the companion Eldorado ETC, continued as the most powerful front wheel drive cars on the market at 300 horsepower, and the top STS ran zero to 60 in 6.4 seconds.
