A mild facelift characterized Cadillac styling trends for 1962. The ribbed chrome trim panel seen ahead of the front wheel housings in 1961 was now replaced with cornering lamps, and the front fender model and series identification badges were eliminated. The Eldorado Biarritz convertible remained a subseries of the De Ville, and the Eldorado convertible was the only Eldorado body style left in the line.
