Announced in December 1956 and released around March 1957, the Series 70 Eldorado Brougham was a distinct, hand built four door ultra luxury vehicle, derived from the Park Avenue and Orleans show cars of 1953 and 1954. It had rear hinged rear doors and was a true pillarless hardtop. Its model years run from 1957 to 1958. Detroit built the first two years, with a roof trimmed in brushed stainless steel and self levelling air suspension, and it joined the Sixty Special and the Series 75 as the only Cadillacs with Fleetwood bodies.
