Cadillac DeVille (fourth generation, 1971 to 1976)

Automobiles

As with all General Motors full size lines, the De Ville was completely redesigned for 1971. In November 1971 a showroom stock 1971 Coupe de Ville placed third in the annual coast to coast Cannonball Run, posting the highest average speed of the event. A modest frontal revision followed in 1972, new energy absorbing bumpers came in 1973 and a wide eggcrate grille in 1974. Its model years run from 1971 to 1976.
