For the 1985 model year the two door Skylark coupe was replaced by the Somerset Regal on the Oldsmobile developed N body platform. The Pontiac produced Iron Duke engine continued from the Skylark, but an Isuzu sourced five speed manual transmission replaced the four speed, and a new 3.0 liter multi port fuel injected Buick V6 making 125 horsepower was added. This page belongs to the Buick Skylark model on its Buick make page, and it links to the generation and the neighbouring model years so that the whole run of the model can be followed in order.
