An updated Park Avenue was released in October 1996 as a 1997 model, using General Motors' G platform, which was stronger and more substantial than its predecessor. The new generation was powered by updated Series II variants of the 3800 engine and, as before, only Ultra models were supercharged. Its model years run from 1997 to 2005. This page belongs to the Buick Park Avenue model on its Buick make page, and it links to the generation and the neighbouring model years so that the whole run of the model can be followed in order.
