In January 1982 General Motors debuted the downsized fifth generation Century, using the front wheel drive A platform, in coupe and sedan forms, sharing it with the Cutlass Ciera, Pontiac 6000 and Chevrolet Celebrity. Together the A bodies became some of General Motors' most transparent examples of badge engineering. Its model years run from 1982 to 1996. This page belongs to the Buick Century model on its Buick make page, and it links to the generation and the neighbouring model years so that the whole run of the model can be followed in order.
