The G01 X3 ended its production in 2024, as the fourth generation X3 G45 went into production that year. The G01 and F97 X3 had run from 2017 to 2024 and had included the X3 M, the xDrive30e plug in hybrid and the electric iX3 as the first battery electric BMW SUV. The G45 was unveiled on 19 June 2024. The G01 was in its last year of production, replaced by the G45 that went into production in the same year.
