In 2014 the M5 Competition Package was introduced for the F10 M5, and in 2015 the power output of the M5's Competition Package was raised to 441 kW or 600 PS. The F10 M5 of 2014 was in its fourth year, a saloon with a 4.4 liter twin turbocharged V8 of 560 PS, built until October 2016 by BMW's motorsport division. The Competition Package raised the power of the F10 M5 in the next year to 600 PS. The F10 M5 was the fifth M5.
