1992 BMW M5

Automobiles

A second left hand drive Touring estate version of the E34 M5 followed in 1992, and in late 1991, for the 1992 model year, the engine was upgraded to the 3.8 liter S38B38, except in North America and South Africa, which continued with the 3.6 liter engine because of emission laws. In 1992 BMW changed the wheel design to the M-System II, nicknamed throwing stars, and built the 20 Jahre Motorsport Edition.
