2023 BMW i4

Automobiles

The xDrive40, a mid range all wheel drive model positioned below the M Performance M50, was announced in May 2023 for North America. The i4 was now in its second full year of sales, built in Munich on the same assembly line as BMW's combustion engined and plug in hybrid cars. The eDrive40 had a drag coefficient of 0.24 thanks to a nearly flat underbody. The xDrive40 added an all wheel drive option below the M50 for the American market.
