BMW 3200 CS (3200 CS)

Automobiles

The single generation of the 3200 CS used a perimeter frame and a 3,168 cubic centimeter twin carburetor form of the BMW overhead valve V8, giving 160 horsepower through a four speed manual gearbox. The management rejected a proposal from the marketing manager to put a Pininfarina Lancia Flaminia body on the 3200L chassis and had Bertone design and make a coupe body instead. Its model years run from 1962 to 1965.
