1934 BMW 3/20

Automobiles

The standard bodies for the 3/20 were built by Daimler-Benz in Sindelfingen. The 3/20 PS was the first BMW automobile designed entirely by BMW and was manufactured until 1934. Its crankshaft ran in plain bearings instead of the roller bearings of the Austin Seven based engine, and it had a water pump and an overhead valve cylinder head, which caused the engine to generate 20 hp. The last of the four versions was the AM 4.
