2014 BMW 2 Series

In 2014 the 2 Series coupe premiered at the North American International Auto Show with sales beginning in March, and the convertible premiered at the Paris Motor Show in October. The 2014 car was the first 2 Series, a split from the 1 Series range made because the two door bodies had become a separate group of buyers, and the F22 was a more sporting car than the hatchbacks. The new 2 Series coupe and convertible thus entered the BMW line up as the models that took over from the two door versions of the 1 Series.
