2013 BMW 2 Series

Automobiles

The F22 2 Series started production in November 2013 as the successor to the E82 1 Series coupe and the E88 1 Series convertible, which BMW was spinning off into a new 2 Series range. It was a rear wheel drive subcompact two door car made at Leipzig. The coupe had not yet been shown to the public, with its premiere due at the Detroit motor show in January 2014. The car was made at Leipzig alongside the F20 1 Series hatchback and was intended to compete against compact coupes from other German makers.
