The Mark II Mini was launched at the 1967 British Motor Show and featured a redesigned grille, a larger rear window and numerous cosmetic changes. The Austin Mini of the Mark II was built by British Motor Holdings, as BMC had been renamed in December 1966, and it was the last major redesign before the Mini became its own marque. It was the first year of the Mark II, with a new look and cosmetic details.
