1927 Austin Twelve

Automobiles

The Austin Twelve enjoyed success throughout the vintage era, with annual sales peaking at 14,000 in 1927. Many body styles were offered, with saloons becoming more popular as the twenties drew to a close. The Twelve of 1927 was a motor car introduced by Austin in 1921, a scaled down version of the Austin Twenty, with the 1861 cc engine that had replaced the 1661 cc unit the year before. It was the best year for the Twelve.
