The 2019 RDX began the third generation, with a prototype shown in Detroit in January 2018, production in East Liberty, Ohio from May and arrival at dealers on June 1. Its 2.0 litre turbo four made 272 horsepower through a 10-speed automatic, with optional SH-AWD. An A-Spec trim and Acura's True Touch Pad interface with a 10.2 inch screen were new, and the IIHS rated it a Top Safety Pick Plus in all trims except Advance.
