For its final model year in 2011 Acura simplified the CSX range to two trims, Base and iTech, both with significantly lower prices than the 2010 models, and the Type-S was discontinued. Only four colors were offered, Crystal Black Pearl, Alabaster Silver Metallic, Polished Metal Metallic and Taffeta White. The ILX was confirmed as its successor, but for the 2013 model year, not the following one, and the CSX became the third Acura to be built in only one generation, after the Vigor and the SLX.
