The Voisin III is a French pusher biplane built by the Voisin brothers before the First World War and ordered in quantity by the French army as a reconnaissance and light bombing aircraft. A Voisin III crew is credited with the first confirmed aerial combat victory of the war, in October 1914, using a machine gun mounted ahead of the observer to bring down a German aircraft.
