The Suzuki Mighty Boy is a kei-class pickup that Suzuki produced from 1983 to 1988. It was the only three-box pickup, or coupe utility, sold in the 550 cc era of the kei car class, when most kei trucks used a cab-over design, and it was classified as a commercial vehicle in Japan and Australia to benefit from lower taxes. Released in February 1983 as the SS40T, it was based on the front-engine, front-drive Cervo and used a 543 cc three-cylinder F5A engine making 28 PS, with a small bed no more than 600 mm long. A facelift in early 1985 raised output to 31 PS. Australia and Cyprus were the regular export markets, and about 2,800 went to Australia, where it was the cheapest car on sale.
