Suzuki Fronx

Automobiles

The Suzuki Fronx is a subcompact crossover SUV in the B-segment that Suzuki has produced since 2023, first through its Indian subsidiary Maruti Suzuki and also assembled in Indonesia and Pakistan. It is based on the Baleno and positioned below the Brezza, and its name is a portmanteau of Frontier Next, which Suzuki trademarked in 2014. Presented at the Auto Expo in India in January 2023, it is sold there through the Nexa dealer chain and has been exported from India since July 2023. Compared with the Baleno it has a heightened bonnet, a coupe-style tilted tailgate, 210 mm of ground clearance and a 308 litre boot. Toyota sells a rebadged version as the Urban Cruiser Taisor in India and as the Starlet Cross in South Africa.
