Suzuki Every

Trucks and Commercial Road Vehicles

The Suzuki Every is a microvan produced by Suzuki, and the name means Anywhere. It began in December 1982, when the van portion of the Carry range was split off in the Japanese domestic market and sold as the Every, offered only with a four-stroke engine because a two-stroke could not pass the tighter emissions standards for passenger cars; the first generation used a 543 cc four-stroke F5A engine. A second generation followed in March 1985 together with the commercial Carry, and in May 1989 the engine changed to the F5B type. In Japan the Every is a kei car, while the larger Every Plus had a longer bonnet for safety and a bigger engine. Since 1999 commercial versions have been called Every and passenger versions Every Wagon, and the fifth generation uses a completely different design.
