The Suzuki Carry is a kei truck produced by Suzuki; its microvan version was called the Carry van until 1982, when the passenger van versions were renamed the Suzuki Every. In Japan it is a kei car, but export versions and derivatives have used engines of up to 1.6 litres and have been sold under many names in several countries, making the Carry the only car offered with both Chevrolet and Ford badges. The series began in October 1961 with the FB Suzulight Carry, a pickup truck with the engine under the front seat and a short bonnet, and the first two generations carried the Suzulight badge rather than the Suzuki name to stress the company's focus on light cars. At home the Carry competes with the Honda Acty, Subaru Sambar, Mitsubishi Minicab and Daihatsu Hijet.
