The Suzuki Boulevard C50, model code VL800, is a cruiser motorcycle that Suzuki Motor Corporation has made since 2001. Until 2005 it was called the Volusia, named for Volusia County, Florida, where it was unveiled at the 2001 Daytona Bike Week, and in 2005 Suzuki rebranded it as the Boulevard C50. It follows the formula of a smaller yet capable engine fitted into a frame sized for a slightly larger one, a combination also used by Honda, Kawasaki and Yamaha in their cruiser lines. The engine is a liquid-cooled 805 cc 45 degree V-twin with a five-speed gearbox and shaft drive, and the series switched from a carburettor to fuel injection in 2005. There are four sub-models: the base C50, the touring C50T, the C50SE special edition and, from 2014, the blacked-out C50 B.O.S.S.
