Smart Crosstown

Automobiles

The Smart Crosstown is a concept car developed by the Smart division of Daimler AG and first shown to the public at the 2005 Frankfurt Motor Show. It is a three-cylinder petrol and electric hybrid based on the Smart Fortwo and it features a targa-style roof. As a concept it shows how the small Smart city car could take a hybrid drivetrain and an open-roof body, and it belongs with the other Smart models and show cars that the Daimler group explored in the 2000s.
