The Skoda 14Tr is a Czech trolleybus, an electric bus drawing power from overhead wires rather than an onboard engine or large battery, built by Skoda in Czechoslovakia and later the Czech Republic from the 1980s. Built on a chassis derived from Skoda's road-bus manufacturing partner Karosa, the 14Tr was exported in large numbers across Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union during and after the Cold War era, becoming one of the most widely used trolleybus models in the region's public transit systems. Many examples remained in daily service for decades after production ended, and the type is still operated in a number of Central and Eastern European cities that have kept their trolleybus networks rather than converting fully to diesel or battery buses.
