The Sikorsky S-38 was an American twin engine, ten seat sesquiplane amphibious aircraft and the company's first widely produced amphibious flying boat. It entered service in the late 1920s and became a workhorse for Pan American Airways' early route network across the Caribbean and Latin America, while also serving with the United States military during the same period.
