The Shanghai Metro AC16, renamed 11A01 in 2014, is a model of rolling stock operated on Line 11 of Shanghai Metro. It was manufactured by CSR Zhuzhou Locomotives, and 396 cars in 66 sets were built. The livery, inspired by Formula One and the Yulan magnolia, is white and brown, and the same design was used by the later 11A02 and 11A03 trains. The passenger information system features only LED scrolling displays showing the next station and the terminal station. Since 16 June 2016 some of the trains have carried Disney themed liveries with characters such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy and Enchanted Storybook Castle, the landmark of Shanghai Disneyland. On 11 November 2022 an out-of-service train, set 1120, suffered an overhead line short circuit and arcing as it moved into Jiading Xincheng station and stalled just north of the station, and service between Shanghai Circuit station and Nanxiang station was suspended until 11 a.m. The additional cars of the 01A02 trains, formerly DC01, used the same design.
