Setra S 315

Buses and Road Mass Transit Vehicles

The Setra S 315 is a touring coach built by the German manufacturer Setra, part of the company's S 300 series introduced in the late 1980s and produced through the 1990s, built for long-distance and charter coach operation across Europe. Constructed using Setra's characteristic integral, self-supporting bodywork rather than a separate chassis and body, a design approach the company pioneered decades earlier, the S 315 was offered in standard, high-decker and double-decker versions to suit different operator needs, and it became one of the more common premium touring coaches on European roads during its production period. Setra's integral-construction coaches were valued by operators for combining a lighter overall weight with a strong body structure.
